Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Automation Robotics Technician to support robotic machine tending and welding systems across our manufacturing cells. You will use your programming and troubleshooting skills to optimize throughput and quality.

You will configure, calibrate, and maintain robotic arms, diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineering to refine paths and ensure safe, reliable operation in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with multi-axis robotic systems.
• Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and process documentation.
• Technical diploma or Associate degree in Robotics, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and calibrate robotic arms and sensors to ensure precise material handling and CNC machine integration.
• Drive operational efficiency by monitoring automated systems and proactively addressing performance bottlenecks.
• Execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controller issues within robotic work cells.
• Utilize precision measurement tools to verify part quality and document process variations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine robotic paths and improve overall system reliability.
• Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to industrial regulations and maintaining an organized, hazard-free workspace.
