Job summary

Accelera in Wisconsin is seeking a Robotics Systems Technician to assemble, test, and calibrate precision robotic systems. You'll apply mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure every unit meets performance standards and supports client operations.

You will interpret blueprints and specifications, fabricate and install components with shop tools, conduct functional tests, and collaborate with engineering and production to improve build processes on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in mechanical or manufacturing assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong shop math skills, including metric system familiarity.
• Experience operating drill presses, saws, and grinders.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to guide precise assembly of robotic units.
• Use hand, power, and machine shop tools to fabricate and install components with high accuracy.
• Perform functional testing and system runoff procedures to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate overhead cranes and industrial trucks to move heavy equipment safely.
• Prepare finished systems for shipment with proper documentation and protection.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly challenges and improve processes.
