Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Manufacturing Tech in Green Bay, WI for a direct-hire 1st-shift position. You will troubleshoot and repair automated systems, support ABB/FANUC/KUKA/UR robots, and read schematics and blueprints in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and a relevant technical degree or certification, plus experience with robot programming and injection molding automation. Strong mechanical/electrical skills are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Technical degree/certification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electromechanical Technology preferred.
Hands-on experience or training with robot programming and troubleshooting required.
Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or UR robots preferred.
Experience with plastic injection molding automation preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair automated, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Support industrial robots, including setup, adjustments, and basic programming.
Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, drives, servo motors, heating circuits, and HMI systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment startups, changeovers, installations, and improvements.
Support injection molding automation, including part removal, conveyors, vision systems, and EOAT.
