Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Manufacturing Tech in Green Bay, WI for a direct-hire 1st-shift position. You will troubleshoot and repair automated systems, support ABB/FANUC/KUKA/UR robots, and read schematics and blueprints in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and a relevant technical degree or certification, plus experience with robot programming and injection molding automation. Strong mechanical/electrical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Technical degree/certification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electromechanical Technology preferred.
• Hands-on experience or training with robot programming and troubleshooting required.
• Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or UR robots preferred.
• Experience with plastic injection molding automation preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support industrial robots, including setup, adjustments, and basic programming.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, drives, servo motors, heating circuits, and HMI systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment startups, changeovers, installations, and improvements.
• Support injection molding automation, including part removal, conveyors, vision systems, and EOAT.
