Job summary

Ricoh in Burlington, MA is seeking a Digital Automation Systems Operator to be the on-site technical expert supporting advanced automation systems including robotics, 3D printing equipment, industrial controls, and automated workstations.

You will operate and troubleshoot robotics and automation hardware, perform installations and upgrades, analyze performance data, and collaborate with vendors to optimize system performance while pursuing continuous learning and certifications.

Qualifications

Experience with robotics, automation, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, controls, or related technical fields.
Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, electrical systems, or Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of system performance.
A passion for technology and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Operate and support robotics, 3D printers, automated workstations, and related technologies.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-based automation systems.
Perform system installations, upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities.
Analyze performance data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and uptime.
Support Linux-based platforms, control systems, PLCs, and industrial PCs.
Work closely with technical partners and vendors to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
Ensure automation systems remain reliable, efficient, and operating at their best.
