Job summary

Ricoh USA, Inc. seeks an on-site Administrator, Systems Operator (SA) to operate and support a range of Partner-sold automation equipment at customer locations across a defined area.

The role focuses on maximizing automation output and system uptime through expert operation, diagnostics, and coordination with Partner vendors. Ideal candidates will have an Associate degree or apprenticeship in robotics/mechatronics, plus experience with Linux, PLCs, and industrial PC literacy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4 years apprenticeship in robotics, mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical fields.
• Experience with automated systems and software-based controls.
• Technical skills including familiarity with Linux, Java, XML, SQL, and database administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line operational support for client automation and related systems.
• Operate automated and software-based control systems, electrical/mechanical systems, and structures.
• Use hands-on support with electro-mechanical aptitude and Linux CLI to support client systems.
• Communicate with client vendors and Partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Support KPIs by maximizing uptime and client satisfaction.
• Perform diagnostics, installation, configuration testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues to maintain high performance.
• Collect data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.
• Complete technical training on client systems and review relevant docs.
