Job summary

The Willamette Valley Company, LLC is seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist to drive growth in General Industry and Material Joining markets from our Eugene, OR area. You will identify, develop, and convert robotic automation opportunities, and align with engineering, project management and operations to deliver solutions that improve productivity and quality.

You will travel 30-50% across Western North America, lead multi-stakeholder opportunities, and guide engagements from first contact

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in automation.
Strong communication and presentation skills with multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

Make in-person sales calls to existing clients, customers and new prospects in the Western States.
Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify automation opportunities.
Develop relationships with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and executives.
Communicate customer requirements and project objectives to internal teams.
Support development of technical proposals, budgets, quotations, and scope definitions.
Create and deliver customer presentations, business cases, and solution recommendations.
Guide opportunities through qualification, concept development, proposal review, negotiation and award.
Assist in transitioning awarded projects to PM and engineering teams.
Maintain accurate opportunity and forecast data in CRM.
