Job summary
Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA, seeks a Systems Quality Robotics Automation Engineer to design, build and deploy robotic automation solutions that test Apple products for quality and reliability.
You will develop automated fixtures that integrate mechanical, electrical and software components, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, analyze results, and advocate for customer quality across designs and production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, ME or related field.
- Expertise in Python.
- Experience with OpenCV and/or AI/ML applications.
- Experience with applied mathematics (linear algebra, transformation matrices, kinematics).
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex mechatronic and software systems.
- Experience in CADing/designing mechanical fixtures for robotic applications.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robotic and mechatronic system testing solutions as the owner of one or more technology areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the most effective and impactful ways to test and solve short and long-term problems.
- Analyze data and results, and report the impact of all system issues found, advocating for the customer and contributing to the highest quality at all levels of the product.
