Job summary
Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale is seeking a Systems Quality Robotics Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale robotic automation solutions for testing Apple products.
You will own multiple technology areas, developing automated test fixtures that integrate robotics, electrical, and software components with AI enhancements for high-quality devices. The role requires strong robotics, programming, and problem-solving skills, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to raise system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS/Robotics/EE/ME).
- 3+ years creating and using robotics/mechatronic systems for automated solutions.
- Proficient in Python coding and debugging.
- Experience with CAD and mechanical design/manufacturing.
- Experience with robot arms and mechatronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and run robotic system testing solutions as the owner of one or more technology areas.
- Define, implement, and evolve automated test infrastructure including CI performance monitoring and test result analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective testing solutions.
- Analyze data, report impact of system issues, and advocate for customer quality.
- Represent the team in sponsor reviews and leadership forums with clear updates.
- Drive quality advocacy across software/hardware development processes.
