Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Quality/Test Engineer in Emerging Technologies to ensure quality across backend services, websites, and platforms. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to robust QA strategies, automation, and tooling to accelerate releases.

You will perform API and web testing, contribute to QE automation, and drive improvements in our CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with global teams to ship high-quality products that delight Apple customers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one object oriented language such as Java.
• Experience with REST-based APIs and web services automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud environments.
• CI/CD pipelines automation experience (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Experience working with AWS or GCP and Git-based workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and integration QA testing for backend services and platforms.
• Develop QE automation tools and frameworks to approach 100% test automation.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams and manage test plans and schedules.
• Advocate for quality in the product development process and improve QE workflows.
