Job summary
Custom Building Products, LLC in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a skilled Machine Operator with hands-on automated machinery experience to join our 2nd shift. You will operate and monitor robotic systems, including Noltec equipment, and support daily production with emphasis on quality and efficiency.
The role offers a $1.00/hour shift premium, overtime opportunities, and potential for an additional $1.00/hour increase after 90 days.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with robotics or automated production equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor robotic systems safely and efficiently.
- Adjust machine settings for product size and pallet configurations.
- Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
- Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat palletizing.
- Monitor production schedules to meet daily goals.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team to maximize productivity.
