Job summary

Custom Building Products, LLC is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our Perth Amboy, NJ plant on the 2nd shift. The role involves operating and maintaining automated production equipment and robotic systems, with training provided for Noltec equipment.

You will support daily production schedules, adjust settings, and help minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with robotics or automated systems, can read work orders, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs while wearing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with robotics or automated production equipment preferred.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable wearing respirator and PPE.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic systems safely and efficiently.
• Work with automated systems and Noltec equipment (training provided).
• Perform batch making duties as needed.
• Adjust machine settings for product size and pallet configurations.
• Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
• Ensure correct product weights and neat palletizing.
• Monitor production to meet daily schedules and goals.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain high quality and productivity; support continuous improvement.
