Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to oversee installation, maintenance and repair of robotic fixtures and equipment in a warehouse setting. The role ensures equipment meets code and runs safely and efficiently, with emphasis on preventive maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with the operations team.

Responsibilities include inspecting robotic systems, diagnosing issues, managing spare parts, and supporting training for junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 3+ years of automation/PLC controls, robotic, mechanical and electronic systems experience.
• Willingness to work overtime/holidays to maximize uptime.
• Experience with CMMS and diagnostic software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all automated equipment as scheduled and directed.
• Carry out robotic and facilities equipment inspections to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Document and communicate maintenance and repair activities daily.
• Manage spare parts inventory usage and accuracy; provide weekly summaries.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize disruptions and ensure safety of tools.
