Job summary

S&S Activewear in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician to oversee installation, repair and preventative maintenance of robotic fixtures and equipment, ensuring code compliance and safe operation.

You will monitor robotic systems, manage spare parts, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with operations to maximize uptime. Requires 3+ years in automation and PLC controls; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 3+ years in automation, PLCs, robotics, and electronics.
• Flexible and able to work overtime/holidays.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CMMS and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment as scheduled.
• Inspect robotic and facilities equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment not functioning properly.
• Document preventative maintenance and repair activities daily.
• Manage spare parts inventory usage and accuracy; provide weekly summary.
• Coordinate with operations to maximize equipment availability.
• Assist in training automation technicians.
