Job summary

S&S Activewear LLC in Reading, PA is seeking an Assistant Automation Maintenance Technician to support maintenance of automation systems including robotic P1200s, Pop Pick Stations, and Induction/Decant equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to safe, efficient maintenance in a warehouse setting.

The position follows a Tue-Sat schedule, with overtime possible to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand documents written in English.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
• Willing to work overtime and holidays as needed to maintain uptime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all automated equipment as scheduled and directed.
• Carry out inspections of robotic and facilities equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment not functioning properly.
• Document and communicate maintenance and repair activities daily.
• Manage spare parts inventory usage and provide weekly summaries.
• Coordinate with operations to maximize equipment availability and uptime.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and comply with PPE and safety training.
• Track maintenance activities in CWMS and complete all assigned tasks.
