Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an Automation Engineer to lead robotic system development and deployment across manufacturing operations. You will work with engineering, controls, production, suppliers, and integrators to implement scalable, safe, and cost-effective automation solutions.

You will support robotics standards, templates, and digital manufacturing initiatives, including data integration and simulation, leveraging Industry 4.0 capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with industrial robotic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming, integrating, commissioning, or troubleshooting industrial robots.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing automation and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, standardize, and deploy industrial robotic systems.
• Develop scalable robotic solutions focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, flexibility, and maintainability.
• Work with manufacturing engineering, controls, production, suppliers, and system integrators.
• Support the development of robotics standards and reusable robot templates.
• Advance digital manufacturing, data integration, simulation, and Industry 4.0 capabilities.
• Program, integrate, commission, and troubleshoot industrial robots.
• Read and interpret electrical, controls, mechanical, and automation system documentation.
• Manage multiple technical priorities and drive issues through resolution.
• Apply strong project management and organizational skills.
