Job summary

Talentify is seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer to support and enhance automated manufacturing systems in a fast-paced production environment. You will program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision systems, and manufacturing controls to elevate safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, collaborating with production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and robotic automation systems.
• Support automated production equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve controls, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Lead root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions.
• Support new equipment installations, commissioning, and production launches.
• Develop and maintain automation documentation, schematics, and standards.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve plant performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
