Job summary

Whisker is seeking a Robotic Assembly Technician in Wisconsin to diagnose faults, repair rejected bases, and ensure units meet quality standards before re-entering production. You will work across multiple lines, handle wiring repairs on PCBs, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to drive corrective actions.

This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience assembling/disassembling multiple Litter-Robot models (LR4, LR5, LR5 Pro, LRe, tc.).
• Mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow directions and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receives and evaluates parts that do not meet production quality standards.
• Troubleshoots rejected bases to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Repairs and reworks components to meet quality standards; performs wiring/connector repairs on PCBs.
• Diagnoses unit issues and assesses components and wiring.
• Documents repairs and findings in Whisker Ops.
• Collaborates with production, quality, and engineering to drive corrective actions.
• Rotates between lines and product types as needed; supports assembly line operations.
• Manages material handling tasks and maintains inventory levels in Assembly Tech area.
