Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Worcester, MA plant is seeking a Production Welder on 2nd shift. The role includes hand-welding or robotic welding on assemblies, deburring, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding. You will operate multiple welding systems and maintain equipment while following safety guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or welding certification and at least 6 months of welding experience. Relocation is not offered; within 50 miles considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of prior welding experience OR a technical diploma or certification in welding from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit offered; candidates within 50-mile radius considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration status for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on standard and near-standard assemblies.
• Deburr, grind, and fit components prior to welding; grind and polish finished elements as required.
• Operate welders, grinders, and other metal-fabrication equipment as directed.
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping; follow PPE and safety rules.
• Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
