Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Production Supervisor in the robotics welding department to lead a team of robot operators, welders and programmers responsible for making truck and trailer parts. You will evaluate welding stations for efficiency, hire and train staff, track work orders, post production and ensure safe, productive operations with clear communication across the team.

• Previous supervisory or related experience is a plus.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or assembly facilities.
• Familiar with print reading and use of inspection tools.
• Good computer skills.
• Previous ERP experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Production Supervisor (Robotics)

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationery, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
