U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to support our production line by moving parts and materials and collaborating with teammates to maintain efficient operations.

You will help keep the line running smoothly and safely on site in Glendale, AZ. This role requires basic English communication and the ability to pass simple measurement tests; training is provided on safety, housekeeping, and quality policies.

Production Worker Primary Responsibilities:

• Remove parts from material storage system
• Assist Machine Operators in loading and unloading machine parts
• Occasionally operate drill press
• Understand, support, and implement the company Housekeeping, Safety and Quality policies and procedures

Production Worker Minimum Qualifications:

• Able to communicate in English
• Able to pass measurement and fraction/decimal conversion tests
• Able to responsibly handle confidential information

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
