Job summary

Steele Solutions Inc. seeks a Robotic Welding Operator for 1st shift in South Milwaukee, WI. You will program, set up and operate robotic welding equipment to produce quality welds and support production plans.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic measurement skills, and adherence to safety standards. Prior CNC and welding exposure is preferred, with opportunity for growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous machine operating experience required.
• CNC operator experience highly recommended.
• Experience with basic measurement tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate the robotic welding machine to weld steel parts/structures.
• Review blueprints, materials and production plans before machining and translate into machine input.
• Provide quality welds meeting AWS D1.1 standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair on the machine.
• Maintain documentation for procedures and shift handoffs.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop or improve processes.
• Operate crane to move material and perform grinding as needed.
