Job summary

SYNERGY PROTOTYPE STAMPING, LLC is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder in Michigan to operate and program robotic welding cells, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards.

You will set up, program, and troubleshoot equipment, read blueprints and welding drawings, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize weld quality and productivity. Experience with Fanuc robots is preferred; forklift or crane experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding systems (Fanuc preferred).
• Knowledge of MIG welding processes and welding parameters.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding cells to produce high-quality weldments.
• Set up, program, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment.
• Load and unload parts while maintaining production schedules.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on robotic welding equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
• Adjust welding parameters to optimize weld quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
