Job summary

Schuette Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a welder to operate robotic welding equipment and finish weld assemblies to meet specifications while following safety policies. The role involves setting up fixtures, reading blueprints, and performing routine maintenance.

Two shifts available: 1st 5:00am-1:30pm and 2nd 1:30pm-12:00am; candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, stand long hours, and maintain punctual attendance. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic blueprint reading and interpretation is required.
• Ability to quickly and accurately adjust robotic welder controls.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/work for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend robotic welding machines to join components.
• Select, position, align, and bolt jigs and fixtures onto machines.
• Prepare metal surfaces using grinders, cutters or drills as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, perform welder setup procedures and routine maintenance.
