Job summary
Wisconsin Metal Parts LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Robotic Welder to join our 3rd shift and lead operation and troubleshooting of our newest high-impact welding cell. The role offers an independent, hands-on environment and opportunities to influence production quality.
Ideal candidates will have forklift and general machine operation experience; robotic welding is a plus but training is provided.
Qualifications
- General machine operating/manufacturing & forklift experience required
- Prior experience operating robotic welder preferred, but will consider candidates who are interested in learning new technology/machine operations.
- Detail, quality orientated, comfortable multitasking
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn
- Any prior experience or exposure to inspection equipment will be helpful
- Able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs, and able to perform regular repetitive bending/lifting
- Able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours and walk as needed throughout a shift
Responsibilities
- Set-up/operate and tend robotic welder
- Assist in identifying defects and assist in repairs as needed (MIG welding)
- Assist with staging welding cells/work areas and light material handling
- Assist with inspections for welded components using tape measures and other hand tools
- Assist with other production operations on occasion needed to meet customers needs: lasers, brakes, grinding equipment, milling/tapping machines, hardware inserters, press brakes
