Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status in Machine Repair.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated weld cells and equipment.
• Set-up of robotic and resistance weld operations and Poke-yoke apparatus.
• Fixture modification and adjustment; operate and program robotic weld cells.
• Assist in training operators on weld cell operations.
• Read electrical schematics to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Verify and document changes to process parameters; support engineering teams.
• Identify and eliminate downtime through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Communicate with coworkers to carry out duties.
