Stellantis Financial Services in Warren, MI is seeking a Welder Equipment Repair specialist to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on welding and robotic systems, diagnose issues, and implement repairs across pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC/robotic controls.
You will read blueprints, work from layouts, and use instrumentation to identify faults while supporting production with equipment testing, setup and routine maintenance. Occasional travel may apply.
The Welder Equipment Repair role is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, layout, installation, diagnostics and repair of all welding and robotic equipment. The Welder Equipment Repair will utilize skills and knowledge of pneumatic design, hydraulic design, electrical circuits, Controls Hardware design, electrical panel design, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), HMIs (Human Machine Interface), robot programming, and device communication networks (DNET, ENET, and Profibus) to support the manufacturing operations.
Additional responsibilities include setting up, testing and maintaining all equipment used in production welding operations such as welding machines and equipment, jigs, fixtures, mechanical devices such as ejection and material handling devices, safety devices, electrical components and controls, hydraulic components and controls, and pneumatic components and controls. Candidate must be able to perform incidental tasks as required to complete the larger task.
