Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, program, and continuously improve automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume automotive welding environment.

The role partners with Manufacturing and Controls Engineering, Production, Quality, and Tooling to diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, support new equipment installs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong safety mindset required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance, robotics, or automated manufacturing.
Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and automated equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, hydraulic prints, and mechanical drawings.
Program, troubleshoot, recover, and optimize Fanuc robots.
Maintain weld guns, transformers, electrodes, weld schedules, cooling water, pneumatic systems.
Follow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures.
Support equipment improvements and process validation.
