Formlabs in Somerville, MA, seeks a Robotic Systems Integration Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance multidisciplinary team responsible for sensor/actuator integration, prototyping fleets, and embedded firmware across the product portfolio.

You will balance customer value, cost, and engineering effort while shaping architecture, developing control systems, and delivering reliable software for micron-scale precision machines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in control algorithms, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems for high-precision products.
• Ability to lead and grow a high-performance engineering team.
• Track record of shipping successful products in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the System Integration team by example; balance customer value, cost, and engineering effort to deploy optimal solutions.
• Shape high-level architecture decisions around sensing tech, actuators, control algorithms, calibration, and firmware across Formlabs products.
• Research external products and technologies to keep Formlabs at the forefront of sensing and control.
• Deploy resources, prioritize work, and recruit top engineers to build a balanced team.
