Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia seeks an Intraoperative Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive surgical support across service lines, including robotic-assisted procedures. The role collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure safe, efficient outcomes in a busy 304-bed hospital in Livonia, MI.

The position requires either an Acute Care NP with MI licensure or an ARC-PA–accredited PA program graduate, plus surgical scrub experience and adherence to sterile

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical nursing for NP with Acute Care focus.
• For PA, graduate from ARC-PA accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first/second assist across surgical specialties including robotic-assisted procedures.
• Support robotic system docking/undocking, instrument exchange, and troubleshooting with the team.
• Perform tissue handling, retraction, exposure, suturing, hemostasis, and wound closure.
