Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join a dynamic surgical team, supporting robotic-assisted procedures and inpatient care. The role blends OR activities with perioperative clinical management across multiple specialties, including urology, orthopedics, and spine.

Robotic experience is preferred but not required; dedicated training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate of an American Medical Association–approved Physician Assistant program or accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Massachusetts Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license (current, unrestricted).
• National certification (NCCPA for PAs; board certification for NPs).
• Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and federal DEA registration, or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and provide perioperative care.
• Obtain medical history and perform physical examinations; order and interpret tests.
• Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans; prescribe medications.
• Counsel patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Provide inpatient surgical coverage across specialties as needed.
