Lab37 Robotics in Los Angeles is seeking a Prep Cook to bridge raw ingredients and our bowl-building robots. You will prepare and stage high-quality components that our robots assemble with precision, following software-guided SOPs in a high-tech kitchen.

The role focuses on strict sanitation, recipe adherence, and hands-on experience with automation. Training is provided for the robotic workflow, with on-site, full-time or part-time positions available at a starting rate of $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of kitchen experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Interest in automated kitchen environments; robotics experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Precision preparation of proteins and vegetables to robot specs.
• Weigh ingredients with digital scales for consistency.
• Load and monitor automated bowl-building units following SOPs.
• Maintain inventory logs and track food waste on our digital platform.
• Operate induction stoves, combi ovens, and blast chillers safely.
