Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA and robotic first assist experience for a clinical role at the Cary Campus, with occasional shifts at the Raleigh campus. The position requires >2 years in General Surgery with robotic first assist expertise and will involve inpatient and outpatient care settings under supervision of medical leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA or NP with RNFA and Board Certification in Area of Practice Required
• 2+ years of General Surgery with ROBOTIC FIRST ASSIST experience
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in PA or Nursing as applicable

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent medical care to patients under supervision of Medical Director and physician partners
• Handle inpatient and/or outpatient care as needed per service requirements
• Complete referrals, consults, daily rounds, notes, discharge summaries, and pre/post procedure care
• Prescribe and follow up on patient care and medications as appropriate
• Educate PA/NP/CNM students and collaborate with other healthcare providers
