Job summary

WakeMed is seeking a Bariatrics and General Surgery PA or NP/RNFA to join our Cary campus with occasional shifts at the Raleigh campus. The role requires 1 year Bariatric Surgery experience or 2 years General Surgery with robotic first assist, and licensure as a PA or NP with RNFA and board certification.

The successful candidate will work under the Medical Director and APP Manager to deliver comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, participate in daily rounds, procedures,

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Bariatric Surgery experience or 2 years of General Surgery with ROBOTIC FIRST ASSIST.
• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner w/RNFA and Board Certification in Area of Practice Required.
• Education requirements include PA or nursing degrees as specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent medical care under supervision of Medical Director and physician partners.
• Care delivery across inpatient and outpatient settings with referrals, consults, daily rounds, notes, discharge summaries, procedures, and pre/post procedure care.
• Educate PA/NP/CNM students and adhere to regulatory guidelines and practice policies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Physician Assistant or Master's Degree Physician Assistant Required
