Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Robotic Field Engineer / Construction Surveyor to support field operations on active projects. You will establish and maintain the jobsite control network and help manage Building Information Models in the field to ensure accurate coordination across trades.

You will work with the project team to review submittals, supervise crew members, operate data collectors and robotic total stations, and uphold safety standards in all weather conditions on site.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Robotic Field Engineer or Survey Crew Chief preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Recap.
• Collaborate with the Project Team and BIM processes.
• Capable of reading blueprints and safety rules.
• Experience with data collectors, robotic total stations, Carlson software.

Responsibilities

• Establish jobsite control network for scanners, drones, and imaging devices.
• Own Building Model for field use and share with Project Team.
• Review subcontractor submittals and shop drawings in Building Model.
• Supervise Rodpersons and other crew members.
• Oversee some subcontractor work activities as assigned.
• Adhere to safety protocols, and work drug-free on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
