Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Robotic Field Engineer / Construction Surveyor to establish jobsite control networks and manage Building Model data in the field. The role involves coordinating with multiple trades, drones, scanners, and imaging devices to ensure accurate buildability and project alignment.

The candidate will supervise Rodpersons, interpret blueprints, and integrate submittals into the Building Model while working closely with the Project Team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Robotic Field Engineer or Survey Crew Chief preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and ability to learn multiple software programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Establish jobsite control network for scanners, drones, and photo imaging devices.
• Own Building Model in field and share information with Project Team.
• Incorporate subcontractor submittals and shop drawings into Building Model to verify buildability.
• Supervise and educate Rodpersons and crew members.
• Oversee some subcontractor work activities as assigned.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain drug-free environment.
