Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC in Hobart, IN is seeking a full-time Colorectal Surgeon to join a premier, tech-forward facility with a strong emphasis on physician well-being and work-life balance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating colorectal conditions, performing laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures, and conducting pre- and post-operative care. Board certification or eligible status, Indiana license, and EPIC/AI documentation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility with plan to obtain certification
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with AI-assisted documentation tools or aptitude to use them
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with specialists

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Provide pre-operative assessments and develop evidence-based plans
• Perform post-operative follow-up care and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci)
• Conduct colonoscopies and endoscopies for screenings and diagnostics
• Manage complex anorectal conditions and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
