Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon for a full-time position in Hobart, IN, with a 1:6 call rotation and a Monday–Friday schedule. The role offers a tech-forward environment and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and surgically treating colon/rectal disorders, performing pre- and post-operative care, and utilizing laparoscopic and robotic techniques (DaVinci). Requires Indiana license and Board certification/eligibility.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Clinic patients per day: 20.
• Call Rotation: 1:6.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.
