Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with board-eligible/board-certified status in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency.
  • Fellowship training and/or significant experience in robotic cardiac surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac surgery using robotic assisted and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesiology, perfusion and surgical teams.
  • Participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows; lead lectures and simulation.
  • Engage in clinical, translational or outcomes research and publish findings.
