Job summary

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible adult cardiothoracic surgeon to join our expanding team. Candidates should have skills and experience in surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic processes, including mediastinal and chest wall.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Eligibility for New York State License and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Eligibility for the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher.

Responsibilities

• Join an expanding team of cardiothoracic surgeons and provide expert care for malignant and benign thoracic conditions.
• Mentor junior faculty, residents and fellows, and participate in research opportunities.
• Collaborate within Stony Brook Medicine for integrated patient care and education.
