Job summary

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible adult cardiothoracic surgeon to join our expanding team. Candidates should have skills and experience in surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic processes, including mediastinal and chest wall.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: MD or D.O. degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Eligibility for New York State License and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Eligibility for the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
• PREFERRED: Record of success in basic or clinical research.
• PREFERRED: Interest and experience supervising undergraduate/graduate medical students, residents and fellows.
