Job summary

HireArt is partnering with a leading on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company to hire a Technical Program Manager - Hardware Development Programs. You will own end-to-end hardware programs from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and production ramp, coordinating across hardware, software, firmware, safety, systems, and procurement teams.

You will drive roadmaps, schedules, risks, and mitigations, while aligning external contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years hardware/engineering program management experience.
• End-to-end hardware development experience from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT to production ramp.
• Experience with external contract manufacturers.
• Cross-functional programs involving hardware, software, firmware, functional safety, and systems engineering.
• Strong communication of progress, risks, and priorities to engineering teams and leadership.
• Proficiency with Jira and Gantt charts.
• Able to operate in rapid development cycles and ambiguous environments.
• End-to-end product development experience in automotive or consumer electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware development programs from concept to production ramp.
• Translate milestones into roadmaps, schedules, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across hardware, software, firmware, functional safety, systems, procurement, and vehicle development teams.
• Partner with external contract manufacturers for prototypes and production ramp.
• Identify risks, drive mitigation, and communicate status to leadership.
• Facilitate program reviews and decisions to remove bottlenecks and align stakeholders.
