Job summary

MEC is seeking a qualified Manufacturing Operator for our Bedford, PA area. The role involves operating basic machinery per SOPs, loading/unloading materials, and monitoring production lines to ensure smooth operations.

You will perform routine maintenance, keep a clean work area, follow safety policies, and assist with troubleshooting as needed. Strong teamwork, math, and English skills are essential.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
