The position requires 2–3+ years of robotics experience, exposure to industrial robots and welding systems, and the ability to travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3+ years of experience as a Robot Technician or Automation Technician.
• Experience with industrial robots and robotic welding systems.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and modify robotic welding cells.
• Perform robot touch-ups, basic programming, and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld prints, and assembly drawings.
• Perform cut & etch evaluations and tooling adjustments.
• Shim tooling and make corrections based on CMM data.
• Troubleshoot robot, sensor, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
• Support HMI, PLC, and robot interaction within automated cells.
• Perform MIG welding and basic machining tasks.
• Assist with customer installations, tooling changes, and startups.
• Work independently at customer sites to resolve issues and complete projects.
