Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking a Cold End Robot Operator for the Byhalia, Mississippi facility. The role runs on a 2-2-3 5PM–5AM shift, with responsibilities to operate the Unit Load robot, monitor equipment, and ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine setup and operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, shut-down procedures, and checklists.
• Knowledge of safe methods for clearing jams and restoring equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in manufacturing.
• Experience communicating equipment status and production issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Unit Load robot and use WinCC; perform routine adjustments for production needs.
• Respond to alarms and clear line jams following safety procedures.
• Maintain pallet de-stacker, strapper, hooder, and labeler; adjust tension and rolls.
• Troubleshoot equipment, prepare for product changes, report breakdowns to Lead Hand or Supervisor.
• Complete shutdown tasks; keep area clean and hand over open issues to the next shift.
