ROCKWOOL in Byhalia, Mississippi is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for night shifts (7PM–7AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. You will maintain stationary machinery, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous production. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience maintaining mechanical equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Welding and burning skills, including MIG welding.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and communicate in English.
• Experience using a computer for reporting and cross‑department communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect machinery and equipment, identify irregularities or malfunctions, and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Install, maintain, and repair power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts, including fabricating parts with lathes and grinders when needed.
• Operate cranes, jacks, tractors, and other lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair work.
