Applied Intuition is seeking a Robot Infrastructure Engineer focused on collection tooling. You will build teleoperation workflows, quality checks, and data ingestion to turn robot sessions into trusted training data.

This is a tooling role centered on real hardware rather than large-scale collection operations. We value hands-on experience with real robots and autonomous systems, strong Python software skills, and a track record of delivering usable tools that simplify data quality without

Qualifications

Strong Python skills and software engineering fundamentals.
Experience with synchronized and multimodal time-series data.
Ability to build data collection, teleoperation, sensor recording tooling used on real robots.
Experience validating tooling on hardware.

Responsibilities

Build teleoperation and operator tools for robotic interfaces and ensure reliable recording.
Implement episode workflows, annotations, and human-in-the-loop processes with clear policy/human boundaries.
Create collection quality checks for data integrity (frame drops, timestamps, calibration).
Develop adapters to validate data delivered by partners against task requirements and schemas.
Maintain raw recordings as source of truth and enable reproducible export formats for training.
Show progress and coverage of collection efforts to guide variation capture.
Document setup and troubleshooting for teams to run collection without direct supervision.
