Job summary

Kuza Scottsdale is seeking a Robata Grill Cook to execute prep and service for breakfast and lunch with precision and efficiency. You will ensure proper station setup, maintain high food quality, and uphold clean kitchen practices during daytime operations.

You will set up the Robata station, prepare and serve Robata items to KUZA’s standards, and collaborate with the BOH and front-of-house teams to deliver a smooth, on-time service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional kitchen experience (preferred).
• Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques.
• Arizona Food Handler’s Card required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute Robata items according to KUZA's standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station throughout service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with daily prep and inventory tasks as needed.

• Participate in closing Robata and kitchen cleaning duties.

Pay: $24.00+/hour

Job Summary

Robata Grill Cooks are responsible for executing prep and service for breakfast and lunch with precision and efficiency. This role ensures proper station setup, consistent food quality, and clean kitchen practices during all daytime operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and stock Robata station with necessary prep and equipment.
• Prepare and execute all Robata items according to KUZA's standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station throughout service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with daily prep and inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH staff.
• Participate in closing Robata and kitchen cleaning duties.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques.
• Must have (or obtain) a current Arizona Food Handler’s Card.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
