Job summary

Bellwether Coffee is hiring a Roasting & Production Associate to roast daily at our Berkeley HQ and support the production, packaging, and shipping of orders for retail, wholesale, and samples.

The role requires 1-2 years in production/shipping, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.
• 1-2 years in production, manufacturing, shipping or warehouse fulfillment.
• Barista or roasting & production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Roast coffee daily to meet production demands.
• Weigh, measure, fill, bag, and prepare customer orders.
• Utilize UPS system, print labels, ship orders, track orders and resolve shipping issues.
• Organize green coffee and production areas continuously.
• Perform physical counts to support inventory management.
• Operate and maintain roasting equipment and coordinate with cross-functional teams for issues.
