This role supports the Transportation Business Unit on real client projects. You are pursuing a Civil or Transportation Engineering degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher, able to lift 30 lbs, and available full-time Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering and/or transportation engineering
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or similar programs is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• Successful criminal background check required
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday during the internship

Responsibilities

• Assist with roadway and traffic engineering design, including signals, signs, and pavement markings
• Support traffic studies, data collection, and analysis of traffic flow and patterns
• Contribute to transportation planning and traffic impact studies, including permit applications
• Conduct field visits, surveys, and construction support activities
• Prepare technical reports
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Synchro
• Support real client projects in the Transportation Business Unit
